Order Acceptance Policy
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. TigerDirect.ca reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. TigerDirect.ca reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. All orders placed over $2000.00 ( CAD ) must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. TigerDirect.ca is a reseller to end user customers and does not accept orders from computer dealers, exporters, wholesalers, or other customers who intend to resell the products offered by TigerDirect.ca.

Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, TigerDirect.ca shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. TigerDirect.ca shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, TigerDirect.ca shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.


Our Satisfaction Guarantee and Return Policy 
Your satisfaction is our goal. Every product we sell is backed by the manufacturer's warranty, plus is covered for most products by TigerDirect.ca's Satisfaction Guarantee.

If a product you purchase fails to meet your needs, please review the information below and return it to us within 30 days of receipt, and we will be pleased to arrange an exchange or refund.

Please note that desktop and laptop computers, tablets, televisions, projectors, digital cameras, camcorders and GPS devices may be returned within 14 days of the original purchase date. Returns must be in a “new” resalable condition, including all manuals, components and accessories, and in the manufacturer’s original packaging. Returns may also be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Because of the nature of technology products and services provided by TigerDirect.ca team members, the following items are non-returnable:

  • Delivery, installation, diagnostic and repair work, and other labor.
  • Gift cards and pre-paid cards.
  • Batteries, ink and other consumable items.
  • Items that are damaged or abused, missing any accessories, missing the UPC, or serial/identification numbers or are not in the original packaging.
  • Subscription services have their own, individual cancelation policy which varies by service. Please consult the individual provider.
  • Software, video games, DVD's, and similar items are not returnable once their packaging or outer wrapping has been opened. Defective items may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase.

TigerDirect.ca’s point of sale price match policy:

At the point of sale, TigerDirect.ca will match any competitor’s price on identical items (matching manufacturer and model). The item must be in-stock, available for immediate shipment and be in the same condition as the TigerDirect.ca advertised item. Price matched items are limited to a quantity of one per household.

For TigerDirect.ca Phone and Web customers: At the point of sale, TigerDirect.ca will match the advertised price of the product, including shipping charges, against other online resellers. Phone and web customers must call 800-800-8300 to request a price match and supply the customer service representative with proof of the lower price by providing the URL of the competitor’s web page or current advertisement that shows the lower price.

For TigerDirect.ca Retail Store customers: At the point of sale, TigerDirect.ca will match the advertised price of the product against local retail competitors with in-stock product. Retail store customers must provide proof of the lower price by bringing in a printed copy of the advertisement containing the lower price.

Exclusions from the Point of Sale Price Match Policy: The Point of Sale Price Match Policy does not apply to bundled items, free items, pricing errors, items of service, mail-in offers, offers including financing, out of stock, items offered below TigerDirect.ca’s actual cost, or limited quantity items, clearance items, open-box items, and used/refurbished items.

TigerDirect.ca's Price Protection Policy:

If TigerDirect.ca reduces it’s regularly advertised price, or if you find a lower advertised price from a Qualifying Canadian Competitor, during the advertised return period offered on an item you purchased from TigerDirect.ca; simply contact us and TigerDirect.ca will issue you a TigerDirect.ca credit in the amount of the price difference good toward the future purchase of products sold by TigerDirect.ca. This price protection policy only applies to regularly advertised products and NOT sale items and it's limited to two (2) Price Protections per item, per household.

Qualifying Candadian Competitors are: Amazon.ca, BestBuy, Futureshop, Costco, Crutchfield, Newegg.ca, Sears, Staples, Target, The Source, Walmart, Canada Computers, NCIX, 2001 Audio Video, Visions, Memory Express and HBC.

Exclusions from the TigerDirect.ca Price Protection Policy: Items with mail-in rebates, coupons, out-of-region competitiors, private offers, auctions, open box items, items offered below TigerDirect.ca’s actual cost, limited quantity and close out items or other promotions or offers and may not be used in conjunction with other discounts. Due to fluctuations in the industry, CPU’s, Memory, Hard Disk Drives and products or bundles containing the categories listed above as ingredients (examples include Desktop and laptop computers) are not included in the TigerDirect.ca Price Protection Policy. Prices on the categories listed above are subject to frequent change and TigerDirect.ca cannot offer price protection on these items and products in the event prices rise or fall. The TigerDirect.ca Price Match and Price Protection policies do not apply in the event of advertising errors and will only be honored during the date ranges of the competitive offer. Competitors’ services are not included in the TigerDirect.ca Best Price Promise. TigerDirect.ca reserves the right to call the competitor’s retail store or customer service number to verify the availability and lower item price.


REGARDING BUNDLES
Bundled items are included while supplies last. Items of similar or greater value may be substituted.

REBATE COUPONS
Rebate coupon redemptions are limited to ONE PER ADDRESS only, unless otherwise noted.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
There are no other express warranties or conditions respecting the equipment. Implied warranties, if any, are limited to the duration of the express warranty provided herein. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so that the foregoing limitation may not apply to you.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall TigerDirect.ca or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits. Some localities do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
PROCESSING TIME
Your order is thoroughly reviewed by our Credit Card Department to ensure that the order is accurate, the payment method is valid, and you are authorized to use this payment method. Once your order has passed the rigorous review by our Credit Card Department, it is sent to our warehouse for shipment.

NOTE - We do not charge your credit or debit card until your order is shipped, however we do attempt to get an authorization on your card for the amount of your order at the time your order is placed. This authorization is not a charge but still may utilize a portion of your credit limit or available funds making those funds or portion of your credit limit unavailable for other use. In the unlikely event that your order is delayed or cancelled the authorization will expire and your credit limit or available funds will again become available for use. The amount of time it takes for an authorization to expire is dependant on the policies of the bank that issued your card and ranges from 1 to 7 business days.

If the item(s) on your order are in-stock, we will ship them as soon as possible from our warehouse or from one of our Distribution Warehouses located throughout  Canada and  the United States. If the item(s) on your order are out of stock, they will not be shipped until we have received and processed the backordered inventory in our warehouse.

TOTAL TIME FOR DELIVERY
Total time is based on the amount of time it takes to get payment authorization, order processing, and the transit time from the carrier. This can range from 24 hours to 10 days for in-stock items.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING RATES
Our customer-friendly shipping schedule is calculated on the ACTUAL WEIGHT or DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT of your shipment and the TYPE OF SHIPPING SERVICE that you specify (ground, air or overnight). Shipping and handling charges will be applied to all orders placed with us. If your order must be shipped in multiple boxes, or in separate shipments in the event an item is not in stock and must ship at a later date, shipping and handling charges for the entire order will be assessed at the point when the first item is shipped. We charge only ONCE for shipping and handling, for the entire order. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding these charges, feel free to email us.

Credit / Debit Card Authorizations
An authorization on a credit or debit card is a hold against your banks credit card spending limit. When the goods are shipped, a charge for the total amount of the order shipped will be sent to your credit card bank. Your bank should release the authorization when the charge is received. A charge is the only time a transfer of funds is completed; an authorization is not a transfer of funds.

Risk of Loss
If the Customer provides TigerDirect.ca with Customer's carrier account number or selects a carrier other than a carrier that regularly ships for TigerDirect.ca, title to products and risk of loss or damage during shipment passes from TigerDirect.ca to Customer upon shipment from TigerDirect.ca's facility. For all other shipments, title to products and risk of loss or damage during shipment passes from TigerDirect.ca to Customer upon receipt by Customer. Notwithstanding the foregoing, title to software will remain with the applicable licensor(s) and Customer's rights therein are contained in the license agreement between such licensor(s) and Customer. Customer will be responsible for all shipping and related charges.
Export Regulations
If this transaction involves an export under the U.S. export regulations, the commodities, technology and/or software sold or distributed under these terms and conditions of sale exported from the United States by TigerDirect.ca were exported in accordance with such regulations. Diversion, use, export or re-export contrary to United States law is prohibited. The commodities, technology and/or software sold or distributed under these terms and conditions of sale may not be exported or re-exported to Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, North Korea or Syria or to entities and persons that are ineligible under United States law to receive United States commodities, technology and/or software. In addition, manufacturers' warranties for exported products may vary or may be null and void for products exported outside the United States.
Dispute Resolution
AGREEMENT TO RESOLVE ALL DISPUTES THROUGH ARBITRATION OR IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT AND AGREEMENT TO WAIVE A RIGHT TO JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATION IN CLASS ACTIONS

You and TigerDirect.ca agree to resolve any controversy, dispute, or claim arising out of or relating to your purchase of any product or service from TigerDirect.ca by binding Arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, or in a small claims court, and judgment on the arbitration award rendered by the Arbitrator(s) may be entered in a court having competent jurisdiction. This agreement to arbitrate is intended to be broadly interpreted and covers all controversies, disputes, claims arising out or relating to your purchase including, but not limited to contract claims, tort claims and statutory claims, or any combination of claims. We agree that the arbitration or small claim proceeding will take place in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

We agree that the American Arbitration Association shall administer the arbitration, and that the American Arbitration Association's Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures and Consumer Related Disputes Supplementary Procedures, if applicable, shall apply. These Arbitration Rules may be found on the American Arbitration Association's web site at www.adr.org . You and TigerDirect.ca agree that the Arbitration Award maybe taken to a Court of competent jurisdiction to become an enforceable judgment. You and TigerDirect.ca agree that any arbitration under this Agreement will take place on an individual basis. Class arbitrations and class actions are not permitted.

If you wish to begin arbitration against TigerDirect.ca you must file a case with the American Arbitration Association. You may visit the American Arbitration Association's web site at www.adr.org to obtain forms and guidance and to learn the procedure for filing a case under this Arbitration Agreement.

This Arbitration Agreement affects you legal rights. An arbitration is resolved by a neutral party and not a judge or jury. There is less discovery and less exchange of information between the parties to an arbitration than might occur in a court proceeding. An arbitration award is final and binding and will only be overturned or reversed by a court in very limited circumstances. You agree that, by entering into this Agreement, you and TigerDirect.ca are each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action.

The Google Translate service is a means by which translations of English content from our website are provided solely for the convenience of non-English speaking users of the website. The translated content is provided solely by Google and we do not have any input or control over the translated content. The English language version of the content, as provided by TigerDirect.ca is the only definitive and binding version, and we are not bound by the non-English translations provided by Google Translate. The use of the Google Translate functionality and/or content is also subject to standard terms and conditions and the terms of use of our website. These standard terms and conditions and terms of use may be changed by us at any time without notice.

Use of Google Translate
The Google Translate service is free to TigerDirect.ca users and is intended only as a tool to assist in the translation of our website content. Any other uses, including, without limitation, the incorporation of, advertising into, or the placement of advertising associated with, or targeted towards, the Google Translated content, are strictly prohibited. You must use the Google Translate content as provided and you may not edit or modify the text, technology, content or links supplied.

Right to Discontinue Service
TigerDirect.ca reserves the right to cease providing Google Translate functionality and/or content at any time without notice. TigerDirect.ca assumes no liability for, and expressly disclaims responsibility for, your use of the Google Translate functionality or content or for your reliance on the accuracy of its translations.
