- USB Direct Interface: Print PDF and JPEG files directly from a USB flash memory drive without connecting to your PC. Connect directly to any PictBridge-enabled digital camera to print pictures without first downloading them to a PC.

- Built-in Networking: Share the HL-4040CDN with everyone on your network via its built-in Ethernet network interface.
- Flexible paper handling: Handles letter/legal size paper and envelopes via a 300-sheet input capacity. This printer arrives with an adjustable, 250-sheet capacity lower paper tray and a 50-sheet capacity multi-purpose tray.

Great value. Quieter than I expected. Excellent print quality. I particularly like the easy method to replace toner cartridges. Have not used the duplex feature as of this post but looks easy and useful. No issues with installation. It does have a large footprint so you have to plan ahead as to location. For my use (light office) it is a winner. |

I bought this to use in our church office for printing bulletins. We are a small church so we only print 100 a week. This printer has made things so easy that we've started printed more fliers in color. We bought this over an HP because of the cartridge life and cost. The picture quality is a little lacking and the colors aren't as true, but for what we do it's great. There are also tricks to make the cartridges last longer. |

This printer does everything we need it to do. I love the duplex feature. No more fighting with the coping of the second side. The toners load very easy. The lighted information area is clear and easy to read. I like this printer |
