Feature-Rich and Well Priced

I bought this laptop for my girlfriend who has a PCMCIA Mobile Broadband Card; and, this laptop provided me with a well-performing platform, backwards compatibility and support for the newer Express Card slots. My only gripe is that I didnt check the default IE Browser site before attempting to access the internet and got hit with a malicious redirect from the default Acer website. I ran the included McAfee virus scanner afterwards and it picked up a trojan.

All Good

My review is tempered by my affection for the Extensa 4620 I am replacing due to my own clumsiness. Bottom line is that this laptop is as advertised and service was prompt as always. As I had assumed that all Extensas came with a titanium metal case, I was disappointed with this model's black plastic. Also, in the past, all refurbished items I have bought looked like new. I guess my luck ran out and I've got to live with some scratches and a bit of wear. Annoying, but not tragic.

Great for the price!

This laptop is excellent! The RAM is impressive for the price, and the webcam is crystal clear.

Excellant value! With 3 GHz of memory, this laptop is fast! Bought this to replace my wif's old Dell. She loves all the features and the quality of this computer. I will buy Acer again!
