Pack all your multimedia and work files in one ultra-portable notebook. The Averatec N2573VH1E laptop is an all-around computer ready to take on any applications.
The Averatec N2573VH1E Laptop Computer represents power in a small package. This notebook is brimming with features and specs which allow it to juggle multimedia applications and more serious, work-related tasks. Finish your job and tasks smoothly, error-free and pop in your favorite DVD after.
One convenient thing about this notebook is it is only 1-inch or 1.5-inch thick, and 11.9-inch in width and 9-inch in depth. So with its size, portability is definitely an innate trait. Take the Averatec N2573VH1E with you anywhere you go. Just toss it inside your bag and you won’t even feel that it’s there.
The Averatec N2573VH1E is a highly qualified travelling buddy. Whether you’re on vacation who would like to check on your office work every now and then, or a young professional who frequently unwinds with some DVD movies, you’ll have no problem handling this computer.
The Averatec N2573VH1E runs on an AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile TL-60 processor with a rapid speed of 2.0GHz. Pair that with 3GB of DDR2 memory, and you are sure to experience smooth and trouble-free computing.
With that processor and memory attached to your notebook, you can open multiple technically demanding applications simultaneously; the Averatec N2573VH1E will still run efficiently like how it runs with only one, simple program running. Now, you can work on those papers or report AND play some background music AND video stream some clips from the Internet.
The notebook from Averatec also comes with an enormous storage space of 250GB. With that big hard disk drive, you can store your whole multimedia library and take it anywhere you go, as well as your important documents, of course.
You don’t need to find a separate DVD player since you can transform this computer into one. Of course, like laptops, it has a DVD Super-Multi optical drive. The 12.1-inch WXGA gives your portable home theater life with its stunning display of rich hues and sufficient brightness for comfortable viewing.
Connectivity is not a problem as well. Of course “mobility” is nothing without the word “wireless”. This notebook is WiFi ready so you can connect to the Internet wherever you are in the world (as long as you’re in a ‘hotspot’, which is common right now). Chat with your friends or watch online videos as a form of recreation, or check your important emails anywhere you go without the need for phone lines at all. Plus, it has an integrated web camera so you can talk face-to-face with anyone, adding even more ‘personal touch’ to the conversation.
To top that, it comes with Windows Vista Home Premium, a state-of-the-art operating system from Microsoft. This OS has features like Windows Aero Glass, Easy Transfer, and Sidebar, all of which makes your computing experience easier, safer and more entertaining.
The Averatec N2573VH1E laptop is an all-around ultra-smart notebook that blends mobility, entertainment and professional tasks really well.

System chassis is rock solid. You can carry it from any corner with the screen open or closed and there is zero chassis flex or cheap plastic making noise when it bends and rubs. Material quality is very good, performance spanks the pants off of any netbook you can find and the cost is not significantly higher. I do have 2 qualms with it though, battery life is poor. Even after adjusting the display dim and reducing power consumption to minimal, you'll get about 4 hours at best on a new battery (includes wifi turned off). I imagine that battery life diminishes over time as they usually do on all notebooks. Also, no bluetooth which is a big downer for me. I purchase a little USB nub to use as a bluetooth adapter. |

Great little machine - even with Vista! Upgraded to SP2, used EASEUS Partition Manager to repartition the hard drive. Installed Office 2003 (can't stand 2007) and my GPS software. Everything works great. The guy in the video is right on about this machine, except maybe the battery time. He forgot to mention the multi-card reader. Reads my SD cards just fine. I'm using a wireless-N express card for even faster internet and I'd like to get the TV thing so my buddy and I can watch the Bears games while we're camping.
Pros: Great bundle of hardware in such a compact machine - and everything works! The case and such are good quality. Not junky at all. Vista's Reliablility and Performance monitor is a nice tool, too. As an IT pro, I can appreciate it and wish the server systems had it.
Cons: The font is a little small for my aging eyes but I'll get by. The ''mouse'' keys are a little stiff but not horribly so. Not loaded with all the frills and all the other video connections.

What You Should Know
 |
|
What Is A Cell? It's a
battery
Though technically a battery has multiple cells, we are accustomed to calling a
single energy cell a battery as well.In
electronics, a battery or voltaic cell is a combination of many electrochemical
Galvanic cells of identical type to store chemical energy and to deliver it in
the form of electricity. The battery cells combine to produce more energy
(voltage or amps) than a cell by itself. When joined in this way, it is a
battery of cells. Almost all portable electronics use one or more cells -
rechargeable or disposable. The more cells, the more energy available -
meaning more hours of use usually.
In Notebook computers, the battery case usually
holds three or more cells. 3 Cell batteries tend to provide about 1-3
hours of use, depending on the energy needs of the Laptop. 6 cell (or
more) batteries provide much more energy, and many more hours of use. This
can be good or bad! More cells mean longer use, but more weight too!

So remember to always check for the number of
cells if specified, and choose the right configuration for your use.
Battery Trivia:
The invention of the first battery (known as a Voltaic pile) was in 1800 by
Alessandro Volta! The first known usage of the battery (as we know it
today) was in 1863 by the physician named Flora Bills. |
