Bought this over a year ago. It works OK for the most part but not even close to my Garmin for accuracy an trip mapping. Always have to double check the directions. Tried to take me 2 hours out of my way from NY to CLE. |

Overall is a Very good product and you can beat the Price!!Bluetooth works great!!AAA our book; and all stores and restaurants come with phone numbers ready to dial if you have your phone sync...the only thing is that it doesn't come with the latest maps and Live Traffic could be an standart feature too. |

This was the first GPS I've ever purchased, and it has done wonders for me whenever I go out of town. I was impressed by how much information it holds; for instance, you could need to do a U-turn, and it would tell you where there is a gap in the median in the road so that you could do so. Has the ability to show amenities on the map as you go, and the voice commands are really easy to understand. Highly recommended! |

Well after having a Garmin for many years, I decided to grab this Magellan for $99 primarily for the bluetooth speaker phone. Having the bigger screen was nice and the speakerphone is now a must have on my next unit. That was about it for the good stuff. The interface is not as intuitive as Garmin and it took a long time to route and reroute. Unfortunately, I only had the unit for a month. The suction cup let go and the screen cracked when it hit the floor. (The Garmin made this fall about 50 times without a scratch) After waiting on hold for 25 minutes, Magellan informed me that they do not cover or repair screen cracks. If I sent in the unit they would sell me a refurb 4250 for $140. Not a deal because I found them online for $130. Magellan was a big disappointment... Back to Garmin for me. |
