The CPU in my old computer died so I bought a new one. I couldn't transfer the hard drive from the old computer to the new one because they have different connections. So I bought this product, installed the hard drive from the old computer in it and within minutes had all my files transferred.
Assembly was fast and easy, including installing the eSATA card in the computer. Quality of materials is first class, the assembled drive is solid and looks good. Everything needed to assemble this device is included in the package, including a small screwdriver and screws.
One word of advice, watch the video link that shows how this product is assembled. It is far more informative than the printed instructions. |

Bought this for a friend whos old computer decided to die and she wanted to use her old 500gb drive as an external for her pictures and videos. I looked around for other externals and this seemed to be the best bet. I have bought many of the Ultra 2.5 e-sata externals for myself so i knew this was going to be a good product if it was anything like those smaller versions. The e-sata connection is fast and will buy this again for my 3.5 drives i have stored away in a closet. |
