Linkskey LDV-212ASK DVI KVM Switch
The Linkskey LDV-212ASK is a 2-port Compact Desktop DVI USB KVM Switch with Audio and Mic. It supports USB on the console side which allows you to use USB keyboard and mouse. The Linkskey LDV-212ASK retail package comes with detachable DVI/Audio&Mic combo cables and USB cables for SOHO and office desktop multimedia application. It allows you to access, control, boot and reboot USB-enabled multimedia computers with only one USB keyboard, one USB mouse, and one monitor and optional speaker set and microphone.
Switching Software Support
The Linkskey LDV-212ASK works with a switching software that shows you the current active PC and allows you to select PC as well as configure keyboard hotkeys. It appears as an icon on the system tray of the Window/Mac desktop, and will change its number icon upon switching to show the active PC port. With the client software, the KVM users have the utmost convenience and control. The KVM Switching Software client supports Windows and Mac platforms only.
Audio and Microphone Switching Offers Uninterrupted Multimedia Experience
The audio and microphone switching function of LDV-212ASK allows you to leverage the multimedia systems on each of your computers. You can monitor the audio/mic input/output of each computer without plugging on and off the audio/mic cables. You can also choose to use either independent/simultaneous switching of both PC channel and audio/microphone channel for the maximum convenience. And it takes only one set of speaker and microphone instead of one set for each computer. Furthermore, it offers you user-programmable simultaneous/independent PC and audio/mic switching function for flexible multimedia and KVM Switching operation.
USB 2.0 compliant for USB Keyboard, Mouse and High-Speed Device Sharing
The USB 2.0 interface offers multi-platform support for PC, Macintosh G3/G4 and iMAC. In addition to the usual connections of a set of USB keyboard and mouse, the two USB 2.0 hub ports can also be connected to a high-speed USB devices such as USB storage or webcam, and etc.
Zero Cabling Hassles for KVM Users
The Linkskey LDV-212ASK KVM Switch saves you cabling troubles with its detachable KVM and audio/mic cables. In fact, you have zero cabling troubles since you don’t have to worry about finding suitable cables to fit. All cables come with the retail package.

I have had this product for about a month now and it's working well and I am happy with it. The value is pretty good considering there are not many other KVM DVI switches that support this resolution.
I even call the support for a few questions and they were helpful. |

Have DVI, USB, and Audio support. Works w/ Mac and PC. I have this kvm hooked up to a PC and a Mac Mini. It came with switching software which can let me switch between computers w/o using push button or keyboard hot keys, which is quite neat. |

Although this claims to be Mac compatible, it is not. Pluging a MacBook pro into it simply causes both the laptop screen and monitor to flicker blue/not blue as the Mac tries to detect the monitor. Be warned. |

I bought this switch and had some issues when I connected it to one of my machines. The company's customer service was unbelievably EXCELLENT!! They actually bought the same video card I was having trouble with and reproduced the problem!! It turns out it's a problem with an Nvidia video card (8600) and they are pursuing it with them. I'm keeping the switch and returning the video card. |
