I've only had this thing about (2) weeks, but it has already helped me use a DVD-ROM from a dead computer to install software on a machine with no DVD, and bring an unbootable SATA drive (and its desktop) back from the dead without losing ANY data. My only serious complaint, thus far, is that the female power plug is a bit too wide, so it and the larger PATA interface are a bit snug together. If this rascal holds up, it'll become my new best friend. |

I have not found another adapter that does so much for such a low price. Every drive I have tried, from mini-IDE, standard-IDE, to SATA 1 and 2, all have worked great. I highly recommend this product. |
