Broke after 2 years
Tried everything and it is not recognized by my computer. Not recognized in my friends computers either. This was my only internal harddrive and apparently this little guy can't handle that. I had some early warning signs it was going down hill and I thought nothing of it until one day it just completely didn't work. If this comes with a booster kit I would recommend trading it back for a different ssd one asap.
Died just over 2 years of use.
I had this hard drive and was satisfied for the price, but last week it stopped being recognized. I tried everything OCZ had told me to do, update firmware (which was impossible since it wasnt recognized anymore) try in another computer, and a lot of other common sense things.
Very disappointed because I had some files on there that were very important, and are now gone. I know I should have backed them up in hindsight, but I thought SSD's were supposed to be very reliable, and a 2 yr old device I felt was not at risk.
Junk
I owe two ssd drives from this company. The first one has been replaced because defective after few months of use and I loosed my data. An other one just failed after one year of use. After that experience, I bought from another company and it works perfectly.
These kind of discs are very usefull 1 low energy needed and are very fast.
Not a reliable drive
used this over a year then suddenly went missing in my bios after my system went to sleep.
Hard drive fail after 10 months
Drive fail before the a year of use. Send it for warranty(complete dead drive) Looked at the comments and some people have the same problem. Don't buy this.... So go to samsung 840 120 gb better warranty 3 years same price.
