Customer Reviews
the first time i saw n95 on the internet with its features i start saving towards getting it.at last i got.i would tell you it is not fantastic, but cocastic.truely it is bambam
Great Phone, I use GPS on the phone from the Nokia preset map navigation and get sychonized with Rogers network at no problem at all.
Can save photo for each contact and ring tone is so loud and adjustable (easy to hear). I use Motorola and Sony Ericsson but this phone seems to be the best and I will keep it as long as it works. Stereo speakers and great camera (5 meg).
Ordered this phone after my piece of crap motorola bricked on me. I was considering getting the iPhone after falling victim to the Apple propaganda machine. But after doing some objective reviews and searching, I decided on the N95 instead. I'm so glad that I did. This phone is one of the most feature-rich phones that I've ever seen. It's replaced my iPod, GPS, camera, and day planner. The phone integrates smoothly with Outlook 2003 to synch your calendar, contacts, and emails. You can set up multiple email accounts and check them either over your carrier's network or by nearby wi-fi. I regularly use McDonald's free wi-fi to check my email when I'm traveling without having to burn time on my carrier. My two complaints are lack of a qwerty keyboard on it and that the slide design isn't quite as tight as I would have liked. Fix those two, and this is easily the best phone out there.
This phone is great. It's the Iphone Killer, actually it was out in the market about a year and a half before the Iphone. Many people have already stated what this little ''all in one'' device can do. I just want to share a little firmware trick If you have the U.S. model it will only let you update the phone up to firmware 12.X.X. Just google Nokia N95 firmware and you'll see how to trick the Nokia software updater to giving you the latest and greatest firmware 20.X.X by changing your product code to an European or Asian one. This gives you much better battery life, better and faster gps, trust me get it!Disclaimer if you mess up your phone or brick it...I take NO responsibility. It a simple trick...up to you to take the small risk for the great benefits. Happy N95ing to all of you
i got a question for trevor about ''but it was terrible! The navigation system is alright, but it occasionaly lags and will also force you to reboot your phone if you go to fast.''...did u try updating the firmware coz i have n80 and samething it lags but when i uploaded the firmware NO MORE LAG...and i was looking at all of your reviews im trying to decide if im going to get this n95 classic or the n95-3 which do you guys preffer?....thnx!
