It appeared to be a great card but in had major flaws. It refused to accept the fact that i had 5:1 surround sound and just chose where it wanted sound to come from. After weeks of trying to get it to work correctly I plugged speakers into mobo itself and surround sound is perfect. The options arent much different than whats available on vista anyway. At $130 buy another GPU instead. |

This card Rocks! Went from onboard sound, to my old Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Gamer+. The Gamer+ was an improvement... this card turned my computer into a serious stereo system. I bought the Z5500 speakers, and thought they were just okay... until I installed this sound card! WOW! Both are abit spendy... but totally worth the money to me. My computer sounds nearly as good as my $2000.00 home stereo! |

I had this extreme G.F. sound card.Now this is mostly in response to ''JBass''.If you can't here the difference between these ''higher end'' sound cards and your integrated audio,you should have your ears checked.I returned this one and got the Auzentech Prelude.Now Creative's X-fi cards are very good.But if you want to go a step higher and get an awesome sounding sound card made with very high quality components that would satisfy the ''audiophiles'' out there.I suggest the Auzentech Prelude.When i first paired my Klipsh 2.1 Promedias with it and cranked it up.My ears were ringing.And no distortion! |

This sound card price might be a little over to high but it's worth it , if you are a Music freak or you tend to game alot. If you used an old Sound card , you can immeditaly tell the difference. Sounds smooth as well , very pleased. Although it can get a price-drop. |

I picked this card up about two weeks ago and so far im very pleased. When playing crysis I gained 9 frames per second vs. onboard audio. I gave value a 4 because of the price but overall this is a very good sound card |
