Had this computer for about 1 year. Within that year my dvd drive went out. I replaced that. Now my motherboard just went out. These are expencesive ones to replace. I think I'll by something different.

Excellent system. Above average quality and configuration. It could use a few more internal (as on the MB) USB connectors. Has worked reliably for several months of continuous operation. Not a Windows user so I can't comment on the OS other than to say that for a Media Center you'd think it could find and configure a PVR-150 card. Runs Linux perfectly (including MythTV) Added two SATA drives and have been very happy with the result. The included speakers are better than average. Media slots are quite useful. Would buy this system again.

Wow. This PC is really great! I LOVE the AMD Athlon 64 3500+!!!! If you wanna get a Windows Vista capable PC this is it! And it CHEAP! The GeForce 6100 isin't that good, but hey, not like you can't put a GeForce 7950GS! And the 1 gig is awesome! You can hardly get a better deal anywhere! Now lets talk about the card reader. Now THAT is the sweet stuff. I mean, I take a picture with my camera, pop the card into the reader, and TADA! I get my pictures! Not to mention that you can use it to put Linux on a Compact Flash and boot it up! To tell you the truth, the DVD burner is one of the best. And what I like is it can do DUAL-LAYER!LOL And it copies CD's at the speed of light! Hardcore gamers: This is not for you. Get a Intel Core 2 Extreme PC. One with better graphics as well. Multitaskers: This is PERFECT FOR YOU! The AMD Athlon 64 really is a work horse! 3DModellers: This is good for less intensive 3D modelling, but if you upgrade your graphics this is great for models!

Best machine I''ve purchased so far. I have replaced an Intel P4 3.0GHZ 1gb of ram dvdrw+-dual layer drive with 250gb Hard drive and a WInfast video with 128mb of video ram agp. Let me tell you this Gateway GT4010 busted it out right out the box. I would buy another if I ever needed too. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a better than average pc, for the price you can't beat it.
