This is a really good camera, especially for the money. It is easy to use and figure out, and takes nice pictures. I only have one problem with this camera, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The camera uses batteries way too quickly. Sometimes batteries only last 30 minutes or so. You'll go through a lot of batteries with this camera, and do a lot of battery charging. Everytime you have to charge/replace the batteries, you have to reset the date and time, which is a hassle. According to the Gateway support site, there are ways to keep the battery from dying as quickly, such as not using the flash, zoom, or LCD monitor. But the problem is that without using those features, you might as well not even use the camera at all. You can purchase a cord through Gateway to allow the camera to work without batteries. That's a nice idea, but it won't do much good unless you stay in one place. Just always keep a pack of batteries on hand in your camera bag/purse/pocket.
