I purchased a couple of these to replace older noisy bearing fans. No such thing as a fast fan that's quiet. This one is fast at full speed and cools any type of case. Using the variable speed control that is supplied at the lowest setting is very quiet. If this is not enough cooling for your case, install two of these fans in different areas (one blowing in and one blowing out) for total circulation of air. Flimsy variable knob, but works! Installation was a snap. and the thermal option to attach to a cpu was great although I did not use it. ai used the controller. For the money, I think it was a great deal! Yes, it can be noisy, but what other fan with these features at this price isn't? |

Don't use for a Phenom...it runs it at a steady idea 57c. Other then that...for a case fan, it's really nice. Makes it sound like an airplane is taking off inside my computer though...so If you don't like noise, DO NOT get this. But if you don't care, go ahead! |

For the price the product provides a lot of options. Temp sensor, variable adjustment and speed sensor cabl eto attach to MB. It helped cool down my PC and also provide ajustment so I canget the air flow needed without the noise. |
