Customer Reviews
On these MOBO's
If you have two sticks, install in blue only. If you have this problem in the blue slots, and you install in the black slots and it goes away, that's a call for a RMI.
Nice kit, except...
I'm assembling this kit for a friend that purchased it. I gave it a poor review because the case, motherboard, and power supply don't work together for one simple reason; the power supply mounts on the bottom of the case and with a video card installed the power supply ''double 4'' cables won't reach the top of the motherboard where the ''double 4'' power connectors plug into the motherboard. This is a problem, and whoever compiled this kit obviously didn't assemble one in real life to verify that it works. It does not. Now I'll have to track down some kind of extension assuming such a thing exists.
Nice value. Why no cables???
When you include a component in the kit, either you need to include the cables needed to connect it, or call out that cable is not included.
Ram or MB problems
I bought this kit, great price about 2 weeks ago. Put it together, installed Win7 and all 8gigs of ram didn't show up. Kept telling me 3.9 out of 8 gigs usable. After updating Win7, sometimes it would boot 8g but most of the time it would only show 3.9g. I have read this is a common problem and only a few have found answers. Not me yet, I have to keep re-booting till I get a full 8g. Other than that speed and performance is good. If anyone has this problem and fixed it fully, please post a solution. thanks
