I have this on a 3.2ghz prescott that runs 24-7. It has been running for almost 2 full years now. No excessive heat or noise. Rock solid construction. I probably won't ever need to buy another one since it's basically obsolete but if you ever need one this is an excellent P4 cooler. I have 2x120mm case fans and my CPU stays between 95F and 115F playing GTA4.
Easy install but a bit noisy - still a good value

This item is better then the stock cooler that came with my CPU. Installation was very easy. Bonus points go to the this product for the use of metal clips since the stock plastic clips are prone to breaking easily. Although it is noisier then I expected, I am happy that I got it.

I have a pentium 4 3GHz. I also have temperature monitors displayed all the time since I've had a couple times of overheating due to dryed up heat sink compound.
I originally had the $8.99 S457-1020 Masscool Aluminum heat sink and fan. Due to the fan breaking (my fault) I decided to get this super-whammy copper sink model.
Don't bother!!! My temps did not change even 1 degree. No difference. Nada. Nilch. Zippo.
It was a waste of money. Just get the basic 8.99 aluminum model.
