Atlona AT-MDP12 Mini Display Port Splitter
Atlona Technologies AT-MDP12 is a 1 input to 2 outputs Mini DisplayPort splitter designed to allow a computer with a Mini DisplayPort connection (such as MacBook Pro, MacPro, Air, MacMini and so on) the ability to be displayed on two Mini DisplayPort monitors simultaneously. Most common monitors are Apple 24” LED and Apple iMac 27”. The Atlona AT-MDP12 Mini Display Port Splitter will also work with DisplayPort monitors (Dell, HP and others); however a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter will be required. Atlona makes such an adapter as well. This unit supports desktop video resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 and surround sound audio of PCM 7.1 & AC3. Audio can also be bypassed through the unit’s USB connection; the same USB is used to power the splitter. With four sets of EDID formats, the Atlona AT-MDP12 Mini Display Port Splitter provides a fast switch between sources and the display, and saves the EDID’s reading sink time to allow the image to be displayed properly.
