Best bang for the buck laptop upgrade
I know an SSD might be a faster drive but has no where near the space as this speedy platter drive. It halved the start up time of my wife's lower end laptop, so now she's not jumping on my desktop because her computer takes forever to boot.

Best HDD Company
For the guy who gave Seagate a bad review and went for the WD. You obviously know nothing about hard drive manufactures. Seagate is the best hands down. No other company can boast a 5 year limited warranty. Seagate does this for a reason, they are the best in storage.

Great replacement drive
Had to replace a failed Toshiba 500 GB drive in a Dell. This drive is quiet, fast - faster than the old drive - and performs flawlessly. Transformed an old disfunctional laptop into a machine that works better than new. The 16 MB cache and 7200 RPM speed makes the old Dell better than when it was brand new. Great price makes it a great value. Even with shipping cost it was better than local stores.

Died After 9 Months
I bought it in June 2012. Everything worked great until it died this month (April 2013). After having it diagnosed it only have 4% health remaining so I will be lucky to have my data transferred onto a new HDD. I will go with Western Digital this time.
