Does the job nicely
I use one of these as added DVR space movies. It works fine and I like it's 'sleep' feature. Plays BR directly to my HDTV without hesitation or loss of PQ.

Excellent drive.
I've had this disk for over a year and use it for backups. Good size, strong, stylish case, fast data transfer, quiet operation. Great product.

Good for the price 32MB 7200 rpm
Works great. Comes preformatted in NTFS. Copied 36 Gigs in 27 minutes with USB. Fairly quiet when it is spun up and working. Dead quiet when it spins down to save energy, while it is not being used. Green indicator light is a bit bright. Would be better if it featured an esata cable.

Great addition to computer
I received and installed my external hard drive today. It was very simple to install and set up. It is pre-programed for NTFS files, so basically it is a plug and play device with windows7 operating system. I noticed that after backing up my file it went into hibernation mode until the next scheduled (you choose the day and time) weekly back or when I decide to initiate a manual backup. I wish I had it 3 weeks ago when my internal hard drive crashed. Lucky for me all my pictures were also on another computer, but I lost a lot of documents that were not backed up. Fast shipping. I ordered it on 12-15-2010 and received it via UPS this morning the 17th.
