The term "Off-Lease" refers to a product that has been leased to, and used by, a customer, then returned to the leasing agent at the end of the lease period (typically 2 to 3 years). The leasing agent, or their third-party partner, inspects, repairs (if necessary), cleans, re-packages, and then offers the product for sale as "Off-Lease". System arrived fine. However, the win XP operating system was not installed and the wrong OS disk was sent. I worked around the problems, but it was a bit of a hassle. Don't know how to get the correct Win XP Professional disk I was supposed to receive.
Overall, this was a pretty good deal.

Everything was perfect out of the box. Continuing to work great, quiet and so much faster than my old broken computer. With my personal tight budget, refurbished was a fantastic option to get a name brand replacement computer, with the options I wanted and within my budget. The keyboard is not fancy but works fine, I had my own trackball, and external DVD burner that worked correctly first hookup. I am completely happy with my purchase and fast shipping.
I love this computer!

Off-Lease
ACCEPTABLE QUALITY
The term “Off-Lease” refers to merchandise that has been leased to, and used by, a customer, then returned to the leasing agent at the end of the lease period
(typically 2 to 3 years). Upon receiving the merchandise at the end of the lease period, the leasing agent or a third-party, inspects, repairs, cleans and re-packages the merchandise, then offers it for sale as “Off-Lease.” There are several “grades” or Quality designations for such equipment, such as A, B, C, etc. We ONLY PURCHASE Grade A equipment and CAREFULLY inspect every shipment to insure that ONLY the best quality equipment is offered for sale.
On these items, you will usually see minor signs of use, including minor
scratches, slight wear on keyboards, etc. This is a great way to save
money on a working unit if minor wear is not a concern - for example: to an
industrial or educational user, or for a young student. For more

Recovery Media
Most computer systems no longer include "Recovery Media" (Disks or CDs used to restore your computer system to it's factory shipped state). Many do not even include Operating System disks.
This is not specific to systems purchased from any one company, but now standard practice throughout the entire industry.
However, many manufacturers include software on the hard drive that creates recovery media for you. This allows burning your own set of recovery CDs or DVDs - all you need is the blank media.
Inclusion of such a recovery utility varies by manufacturer and model; not all manufactures and models include such a utility. For those that include such a utility we recommend you create your own set of recovery media after completing the Windows installation. In other words, right after you start using your PC!
If you fail to do this and encounter a difficulty in the future you may not be able to properly restore your computer.
Some manufacturers may have physical recovery media available separately for purchase; consult your owner’s manual support information section for additional information. Systems that do not come with a CD/DVD burner may still include Recovery Disks - please check the manufacturer's specs.
