Customer Reviews
This Laptop is great
I have used it for gaming and everyday tasks. Grade A Product. Completely worth the money.
Kind of dissapointing
All in all a decent value for the price. However we have purchased a few slightly different models of these refurbed units and a few are now having power problems. Of the seven we have purchased we have had to replace two power supplies at 25 ea and three bad batteries 100ea within six months of purchase. Given the 30 day warranty of course nothing is covered. But the extended warranty is always pushed by this vendor. I just find it odd and dissapointing that this vendor has gotten to the stage of poor quaility control and is covering it up with an extended warranty option.
Also the computers do not come with any disks. Instead the re manufacturer has installed a hidden partition with all the software on it. From there you can make CDs if you like. But the 320G is a farce unless you reformat the drive. In the configuration we recieved ours in we have 111G of cap capacity.
Othar than that they are fine.
Great Product
The look is excellent and the performance is as well. Set-up was quick, and I've had very few problems with it. Great product for the price.
Great Deal
This computer is great for the price. It looks like new, works great, and is very fast...at least compared to the desktop I am use to. The picture quality from the screen is very good. I have had this computer for 3 months now and have not had one problem with it. I got the $2.99 shipping deal when it was on so that even made it a better deal. Happy for now.
Strong machine for a good price
Seems like a decent machine. Looks good, feels good. Holding strong after a month or two. One drawback is the Vista / 64 bit OS. The security features and control in Vista are not favorable to shareware etc, and in some cases it is not configurable to even install it (installation of programs with unsigned drivers not allowed, but small startups are not going to pay the big $ to register with M$). Also, I have problems with the 64 bit. The different architecture means that some programs are installed but not recognized as such (eg Sun Java, Flash players).
The main stuff seems to work though, and I bought it to work with. I have not had any problems with software compatibility and it seems like an overall solid machine.
