I would only recommend this card to pcs that aren't made off the assembly line. I stuck one of these into my hp desktop to cut my temp on my 9800gt, and apparently the psu did not have enough power to run the fan. Also, my mothrboard did not have an available 3 pin connection, so I had to use my exhaust fan port. Sadly, I returned it, but I probably would give a better review if it was compatible. |

Great cooler! Replaced the stock cooler on my XFX 8800GT with it and BAM, temps dropped about 30 degrees under load. My computer would always crash before but I popped this baby in and havent had a problem since. Fairly easy installation, I loved that it came with its own thermal gel instead of stupid tapes. all in all a great product, if a little pricey. |

Good GPU cooler.
Keeps my 9800GTX+ Idle 38c load around 45
Doesnt look as good as the stock cooling solutions do, but preforms much better. |

These are Universal. It took me forever to find that, but they will fit Ati 48xx or Nv GT2xx.
Only reason they were docked stars is because of the physical support for the cards. I mounted 2 of these on crossfire 4870s. The PCB bends now. I am debating cutting a support bar out of the original cooler to straighten the card.
The power connectors are a little played out. zalman has used these for years. You cant plug it into the card for automated fan control. Your left with choosing direct to the psu or to a mobo fan port. Connecting to either of these, w/o the controller, will cause the fan to run at full rpm (which is higher than spec) so im stuck using 2 of these clunky gawd awful fan controller |
