Asus P6T-Deluxe LGA 1366 Motherboard
Take advantage of the most significant architectural change in the x86 architecture in 13 years, the Intel Core i7. The ASUS P6T Deluxe introduces a new era for extreme performance. It is an X58-based motherboard that supports Intel’s new generation extreme performance Core i7 Processors and both SLI and CrossFireX! Six SATA ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 as well as two SAS, or Serial Attached SCSI, ports supporting RAID 0 and 1 give you plenty of storage options and the ability to use hard drives with speeds of up to 15,000 RPMs. Memory support includes up to 24GB of Triple Channel DDR3 memory. Intel has brought back Hyperthreading technology and combined it with a native quad-core design to give support for 8 seperate threads in the new LGA1366 / Socket B CPU interface and their replacement for the old Front Side Bus technology, QuickPath Interconnect provides a system bus speed of up to 6.4GT/s. The three PCI-Express 2.0 slots can operate at either x16/x16/x1 or x16/x8/x8 to take full advantage of either 2 or 3 graphics cards.

Like every other Asus board I have purchased this one does not disappoint! Setup and installation was quick and easy and for the last three days it has been running rock solid with Vista Ultimate 64bit. The Intel X58 platform is really refined on this motherboard. I have not tried any serious overclocking but I have my Thermalright Ultra120 Extreme RT on the way and will see how it performs once I have a better cooling system. This is really a first class motherboard and I would not hesitate to recommend it!

This board is great for overclocking and for 2x SLI rigs. Unfortunately the future will be in 3x SLI for those extreme enthusiasts. This board has 3x PCIe x16 slots but, if you will notice, 2 of these slots are placed extremely close to each other. This presents a fundamental problem with 3x SLI UNLESS you are using some crappy little 9800gt or something like that. Most high-end graphics cards will be more than 1 inch wide and thusly you will not be able to fit 2 in the bottom two slots as one will be covering the very bottom slot. Check out the P6T6 WS Revolution for a nice substitute.

excellent board, very easy to overclock , accept all memory mayor brands. I set up with a pair of 2 geforce 8800 GT 512 MB (got SLI with this 2 cards )and my games runs like a rocket. I pushed my cpu CORE i7 920 from 2.66GHZ to 3.80GHZ with this board.

Ordered on a Monday, had it Friday, coupled with a 920 and 1600 Triple DDR. Setup was a breeze, nothing wrong with the board, drivers or bundle (so far). This thing runs blazing fast and will meet and exceed expectations, especially considering the countless features available. VERY happy camper so far, very much recommended. Moving from a 780, and the simple quality of the overall product is a vast improvement.
