The Access HD Model 1080D Digital TV Signal Converter offers a number of unique benefits.
By converting the new digital broadcast TV signals to analog signals that your older analog TV understands, the Access HD Model 1080D will breathe new life into your old TV.
You’ll be amazed at the crystal clear image that your older analog TV offers when connected to the Access HD Model 1080D. The space saving design is one of the smallest available so it integrates easily with your existing TV and includes a dedicated remote control. In many markets, you’ll be able to receive “multi-cast” stations that are otherwise unavailable on cable, satellite and conventional analog TV broadcasts. And if you live near a U.S. border, the Access HD Model 1080D will “pass through” the analog TV signals from those areas even after the U.S. TV analog system is turned off so that you are able to enjoy that programming, as well.

LIKE THE HD BOX
I LOVE HOW YOU CAN GET INSTANT FREE AIR CHANNELS FROM THIS BOX YOU CAN PICK UP A LOT AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A GOOD ROOF ANTENNA WITHOUT IT YOU WON'T GET THE MIDDLE OR CHANNELS OR LIKE CHANNEL 4, OR 11 THEY TEN TO GO WEAK AT TIMES. ONE BAD THING ABOUT THIS BOX IS THAT AFTER A YEAR IT SEEM TO FADE OUT AS TO GETTING A QUALITY SIGNAL. I DON'T KNOW FROM LIGHTEN STORMS THAT HIT THE ROOF TO JAM IT UP OR OVER THE TIME YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT ON AND THE HEAT FROM IT LIKE A PS3 OR XBOX START TO DOWN GRADE THE UNIT. BUT OVER ALL IT'S NICE AND SMALL SO YOU CAN PUT IT ANY WHERE ON YOUR TV. SO DO GET IT JUST REMEMBER ALL THAT I SAID ONCE YOU GET IT.

good value for the money
I wanted a basic converter and this one is perfect for the price. It gets the 7 local channels and they come in clearer than they did with the analog signal.

Great price, not much else
The Converter box was a great price but it feels cheap and it just decides to turn off unexpectedly all by itself. The picture quality is fair. I purchased two of them and one gets a lot of stations while the other seems to not work as well.
