The Vantec AeroFlow FX 92
The Vantec AeroFlow FX 92 is a high performance CPU cooler. It incorporates a specialized 8mm diameter copper heat-pipe for optimum heat transfer. With its unique Heat-Pipe Direct Touch Technology (HDT), the heat-pipe is in direct contact with the processor and minimizes thermal resistance. I bought this because my kit didn't come with a cooling fan or heatsink. It fits on my board, Asus M4A785-M, AMD Phenom 9650, and in my case perfectly. PowerUp mid ATX case. |
nice but did not work for socket 478

I purchased it for a Biostar P4M900-Mr with a socket 478. It's a nice unit with various adapters to make it work for the different socket configurations but the 478 adapter did not work with the plastic heatsink holders that the board had. The manual shows the plastic bracket on the board to have two mounting sides to it, however the bracket that I had only mounted from one side and did not allow this heatsink to clamp down using the provided clamps. I returned it and purchased a cheap heat sink and fan unit. |

i bought this for a quad core pc and it keeps it at 29 degrees celsius at idle i would buy it again |

This fan works fine but you should be aware that it is about one inch from the power supply and exhausts the air toward the side. This is with the ASUS M4A785-M motherboard. |
