I've had this machine nearly 2 weeks and am very impressed. It has greatly enhanced my MMO gaming especially for City of Heroes. It runs quietly, and seems easily upgradable for the future. I'm new to Vista and perhaps an operators manual of some kind for Vista would've been helpful. Only con is the access door on the front of the cabinet. It has to be opened to use the DVD drives or to turn it on. Door is kinda annoying.
Update: 11/12/09: This machine is junk!! It ran well for nearly a month. Afterwards, it blue screen crashes nearly every day. I've put it through so many registry repairs, anti-virus scans, and you name it. Through the past few months, I've pretty much tried everything to get more stability out of it. Still can't determine if its a Vista problem or hardware. I'll make do until tax refund time then I'm getting a Mac. I'm sick of PC's. |

Recieved the new PC. Seems like a great machine. One cooling fan wasn't working when it arrived. Waiting to hear from tech support to get it repaired. I will finish my review when that happens. |

I think this is a lot of computer for the money! Especially is you don't want to build one from scratch yourself.
Mine also took a little over 3 weeks from order to delivery. It came on the date promised. I used the minimum shipping option.
I received an Asus MB which was an unexpected perk. I also got a 9950 Quad core, whether this was to make the shipping promise or just a standard upgrade I don't know. I also received the Windows 7 free upgrade which was not advertised. That may have been a timed promotion. YRMV
It arrived with a loose harddrive connection. Customer service was quick and diagnosed the problem easily. I play a lot of WoW and it has performed well on 'Ultra' video settings.
My benchmark scores (3D Mark) are below average out of the box. but that is probably because Intel Quad Cores are outperforming AMD now so it was not unexpected.
