My daughter managed to break the headphone plug on her notebook and this gave her back the sound to hear her music and lessons.

Hi
I am a Amateur Radio Operator some of you would call me a Ham Radio operator.
I use what is called Digital Radio modes using a sound card in my laptop. Well the Mic Jack stopped working. This product solved the problem at a low cost. I did not want to repair the laptop.
I also use Linux Mint 9 But my Guess it would work in Ubuntu also. But I prefer Mint over UBUNTU but I am still a fan of Ubuntu

This was the easiest computer job I ever had! I needed to get sound on an old pentium 3 machine running XP. I simply plugged it in and waited a few seconds for Windows to figure it out and then i got the message that my new hardware is ready to use! No software to install or anything. just plug it in and you are in business.
