love this thing. I works like its advertisied
I plugged it on to 4 computers and I can change between Keyboard and screens.
Misplaced Screen
The screen is displayed shifted to the left. No matter what computer operating system, XP, Win8, Ubuntu Linux. If the display from the computers are connected directly to the monitor, the display is fine. But through the KVM the display is shifted Leftward, and in the case of UBUNTU, the ribbon on the left was completely off the screen.
If this matters to you, then do not buy this KVM.
HORRIBLE!
Maybe I got a defective unit...I hope so. Video quality is terrible, much lower resolution than monitor is set for and it won't change. Mouse and keyboard keep cutting in and out and several times shut down altogether until a full reboot. All in all... Aaarrrrggghhh!
WAY to cool!!!
Let's see...I've put linking all of my CPU's together for 5 years. Mostly because of the cost of the technology. When I found this switch I figured it was time. THIS THING IS GREAT!!! It came with everything you need to connect 3 computers. I added a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse...it worked PERFECTLY the first time and ever since. I recommend this product 1000%...I'm glad I waited! My new home office system is way to COOL!!!
