Great Desk Top Machine
Bought this machine to replace an old Vista computer. I shopped for several months before deciding on this unit. I have had it about 2 months and am not sorry I purchased it. It was easy to set up and has operated flawlessly. I wanted a Windows 7 machine because I didn't want the learning curve of Windows 8. I would recommend this computer. I use it for personal computing and it does anything I need and more.

Excellent value, measly power supply
I needed to replace a failing computer, and this seemed an excellent value. I also wanted Windows 7. It was easy and quick to setup and it runs well and silently. The only drawback might be the 300 watt power supply. It appears to be perfectly adequate for the computer as sold, but upgrades will likely require an upgraded power supply as well.

Great except for hyperactive DVD
Recently bought a few Win7 computers to avoid going to Win 8 anytime soon. One was Intel I7 processor this one an AMD. Both seem about as fast for my needs. Only problem was a DVD that wanted to constantly open and close - pulled one from a dead computer an put it in - works great - will send defective one to HP. If like me you don't want Win 8 get this computer NOW! It is really great!

Nice comptuer, but can't go to sleep mode
Everything runs smooth, except after it goes to sleep mode, it will never wake up. I have to unplug the main power and wait for 5mins to turn it on again.
