The product works well, now that it is working. However, when it first arrived, it would not turn on or function at all. I ended up getting out a screwdriver and opening the case. The unit had been assembled improperly, and the touch buttons weren't interfacing with the circuit board. Apparently no one tested the unit to see if it worked before it was sent out for sale. Anyway, I fixed the problem and now it works fine and does what I paid for it to do. |

This was a poor quality product. Ordered one and everything worked except for, the proprietary din to vga cable that goes between the converter and laptop would kill the laptop every time I plugged that cable into it. Just the cable would do this. I plug external monitors into my laptop all the time so the cable that came with this converter should not be doing this. Tried it on other laptops and it did the same thing. I ordered a second unit and it did the exact same thing. So I gave up and requested refunds on both...which took almost a month for returns to issue me a good RMA and shipping label. Ended up purchasing a similar item off ebay at half the cost that works great! |

Works like a charm! I mainly used it to my Playstation 3 S-Video to letting it convert to the VGA.(The Impact box of the VGA signal stays intact with your monitor for the Impact menu, even without the Playstation 3; from there, the its Impact menu has an all around resolution setting up to 1080 aspect fix.) |

I bought one of these units to hook up a 22" LCD monitor to a DVD player and a satellite receiver. It works perfectly.
I only wish it had a remote and volume controls. And a way to hook up both the DVD player and the sat receiver without having to switch the cables. |
