New Laptop Computers seem to be missing a dial-up connection. Many of the places I visit have only a telephone so this device fits the bill.
There should be a huge market appearing about now for this modem. |

This fax modem seems to have difficulty connecting to remote when used on a phone line that also has D.S.L service. Connects only in one of three or four tries. Manufacturer says the modem is not designed to work on D.S.L.equiped phone lines.
This limits functionality. |

Bought it for Windows 7. Bought the laptop and it did not have a dial-up modem. All we have available is dial-up. Downloaded the drivers for Windows 7 and it works great! No problems at all. |

The unit works great, the price is right. Install on my Windows 2003 Server was a snap. I use this modem simply for the fax features so my server can function as a fax server. |

I knew before I ordered the device that I would have to download a Windows 7 (64) driver so I did it before it arrived. Plugged the device into a USB port and away it went. Could not be more satisfied with the device. Microsoft should include a driver on a future upgrade but it appears to have recently been completed by USR. Doesn't get any better than this! |
