Needed something to listen to some background music while at work that didn't involve a lot of cables and plugs to pack up and put away at the end of my shift. It fit the bill for what I needed very well. If you want something to fill the room with rockin out music keep looking, this is just a very nice handy small speaker system. Wish it had an external volume control.

I bought this for use with my laptop in making classroom presentations. Works flawlessly right out of the box and the sound quality was actually much better than I was expecting. No it's not a high dollar BOSE system but if you are looking for something that requires no additional batteries, stores easily in a laptop bag, and provides good sound quality in an average size classroom this will more than meet your needs. In addition in a smaller room the sound is very good for listening to music or viewing movies.

Simple installation - just plug it into the usb port. Have used this with XP, Vista, and now Windows 7, with no problems. Good sound for the money with just usb power.
