Some have said that it has a flimsy casing, but that's not true it's plenty sturdy to do what it's made to do. But I do agree with the person who said if it's going to cover two pci slots then it should draw power from one of those. because the more stuff I ad to my pc the thicker the jungle of wires inside get. I won't say it's loud but I can hear it, but I don't have my cpu in anything so it's pretty much right beside me. If you are having problems with case ventilation especially on a rebuild like mine this is the right product for you. |

Moves far more air than as stated in the description, and the lights are incredibly bright (expected them to be fairly dull at first).
Some people have issues with the housing being flimsy or something, but mine is 100% perfect, guess it's just a matter of luck.
Also, it IS a bit large for what it does, but if it didn't take up two PCI slots, it wouldn't suck air DIRECTLY off the card which is it's purpose(and it still won't reach the top card if you have two low-profile cards - but who uses those weak things anymore? ;P)
My only gripe is the molex, but it's really no big deal. |

This fan case fan does extract a pretty reasonable amount of warm air from the case however, this comes at the cost of 2 open slots now filled and using a 4-pin to power it. If you are going to cover the slots on the board, may as well make it draw power directly from the slot (IMHO). Another con about this product is would be its extremely cheap housing construction. I had 2 wires resting on the back of the unit and it was enough to cause the item to sag. |
