OK, I have only had the set for one day, but I am becoming more and more happy with it. I think I bought the last one at Woodbine and Hwy7. It cost me $469+82 for 1 year warranty for a 37'' LCD, dual tuner HDTV. Awesome deal. This is my first LCD/HD TV so I am going through the learning curve. I have DVDs worked out... not much can be done with SDTV, and hope to solve the PS2 issues soon. Reviews moan about the remote, but I do not find it all that bad. As long as the 'mysterious' death doesn't happen, I am sure this will be a very good memory for me. The last TV I got in '96 was a RCA 27'' CRT that was normally $800, and I got it for $500 (employee discount at FS). I am retiring that old set to the extra room now.

Love it, I just got this TV and I am in love with it. If you have the right cables with this TV it is absolutely incredible. My PS3 and Xbox 360 are thanking me for this wonderful BUY.

Worked fine for six months and then screen goes white... Viewsonic said it was covered, then it was not covered, and suddenly I can pay to send it to them for repairs... Nope, NEVER will buy another Viewsonic product, monitor or TV and strongly suggest others to pass. Laissez faire economics, Caveat emptor Viewsonic!!! Still shop the Tiger though...

I bought this tv knowing it was refurbed in the Tiger Store in Durham, NC. The tv so far is great. I had trouble figuring out how to use the controls but a friendly tech support in USA Raleigh, NC helped me through it all. Used with HDTV Time Warner cable has excellent crisp pictures with HDTV stations and use with 1080i is excellant for most channels. Buy it!

A great bargain, beautiful picture, BUT.... I am a little disappointed at some of the key features. This TV really has a great picture IF you have a good signal/source. If you've already split your cable service 6 different ways inside your home, get a cable signal amplifier. As for the stuff I didn't like. The set comes with PIP and POP. I was hoping to use my VCR as a 2nd tuner, however the PIP and POP have to come from two separate set of inputs. If you're using the Cable (or Antenna or RCA-Video or S-Video) input the other input has to be YPbPr, VGA or HDMI. My VCR doesn't have HDMI output. When changing channels, a large grey bar covers about 1/6th of the picture for 3 seconds before changing the channel and another 5 seconds afterwards. Couldn't they have just super-imposed the channel information on the screen?
