Worked flawlessly for 4 years now
Best air cooled unit I've owned. It's huge so make sure you have a fullsize case, this would not be happy in a midsize tower. Keeps my cpu at 42c under 100% load. I use my pc for rendering so I'll max it out for hours, sometimes days at a time and it never breaks a sweat.
Whaaaaaat no way man!!
I am very disappointed. I'm still searching for my receipt to see how much I paid for this. When I first got it I had to cut the fan blades shorter just to prevent the blades from scraping against the fins. Then roughly a year later when I decided to clean my computer, I noticed that all the blades including the plastic fan housing fell apart into several bits of pieces. The only thing that held it together was the sticker. :(
Nice CPU Cooler
Had a hard time with the installation but after that it works great.I O.C my Q8300 from 2.5 to 3.3 GHZ with no problems.Cpu runs at 42c.I have a question although do i need to place thermal paste?
OK Product
I had the fan on my AMD Quad Core for a year and the plastic base broke and the fan dropped down and landed on my Geforce 260 gtx video card and shorted it out.
Very Good
This is was alot bigger then I Thought. Compare To The stock Heatsinks from Intel. This is huge. cooled My E7400 Down to 48c at full load. Even With the high humidity and heat in my room and case. The small fan speed controller is pointless as its only in da inside. I didn't see a difference in Temp. The fan just got noiser. But oh well. Still doing Fine after a year of use. The Blue Light is an Added Bouns Too.
