 Okidata B6500 Series Laser Printer
Feature-rich and upgradable, these printers are
designed to increase productivity through fast
output and fewer user interventions.
You demand the best from your team, so why
shouldn’t you expect the same from your
workgroup monochrome printer? B6500 Series
printers are reliable and productive printing
solutions that get the job done fast—and with a
low cost of ownership. When seeking the answer
to your most demanding printing needs, look no
further than the B6500 Series.
Packed with features and room to grow.
B6500 Series printers are workhorses right out
of the box. They are designed for high-volume
environments, with a monthly duty cycle rated
at 200,000 pages. That’s 10,000 pages per
work day—correspondence, proposals, reports,
memos, schedules, spreadsheets and more.
These workhorses are also race horses, printing
at up to 45 ppm and with a time-to-first-page
of under 8 seconds. Users will spend less time
waiting for their documents—which will be crisp
and clear at a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi.
All four B6500 Series models come with 128 MB
of memory and 700-sheet paper capacity. As your
printing needs change, these printers can handle
them with an array of performance-enhancing
options. Increase RAM to 640 MB for processing
large files, and boost the paper capacity to a max of 1,800 sheets with two 550-sheet trays—which
can be used to hold different types of media.
There’s an optional offset catch tray that lets you
separate your output for easy retrieval. And you
can add a 60 GB hard disk drive or compact flash
to support such productivity features as Secure
Print, Proof & Print, and Delayed Print.
It fits right in with the group. B6500 Series
printers are compatible with Windows® Vista,
XP, Server 2003, 2000, Me, 98, Windows NT 4.0,
Mac, Unix and Linux. While all are equipped
with USB 2.0, IEEE parallel and serial connectivity,
the B6500n, B6500dn and B6500dtn also have
Ethernet connectivity so that everyone can take
advantage of the productivity and cost savings.

consists of paper, envelopes, cardstock, overhead transparencies, and labels
that are used with printers. Basically, Print Media is anything you print
on.Printers are
characteristically required to handle print media of various paper types.
When it comes to choosing the right media (paper) for the job, consider two
