I looked at several frames before I settled on this one. Colors are adjustable and true. I appreciate the 4:3 ratio too since most other 16:9 frames must resize most camera shots to a new perspective that fits better with panoramic view. I bought a 2 gig card to go with it. I don’t think I will ever fill it up. I have about 750 on it now and its less than 20% full. Tiger’s prices overall are the best. |

Tech notes: To set photo order you must store files using 8.3 name format. Frame will unpredictably rename and reorder longer names. Also shuffle simply shows alternate photos in reverse order. Also has trouble with color density; if photo shows ''X'' in file view reduce the palette and resave it in a paint program. Otherwise, good device at good price. |

I orginally opted for this model because Tiger Direct has it listed as a ''high resolution'' 800 x 600 frame. I received the model and the manual states it is only 480 x 234. If you are looking for a lower resolution frame such as a 480 x 234 resolution, there are much better values for the money. |

NUMBER OF IMAGES STORED ON A DIGITAL CARD
The number of
pictures you can take varies depending on your camera model and complexity
of the scene being photographed. To calculate how many pictures your card
can hold, divide the capacity of your card by the average file size of your
images. For example, if you have a 256MB card, and use a camera that has an
average file size of 1.2MB, then 256 divided by 1.2 gives you approximately
213 pictures. As you change modes on your camera, the number of images will
increase if you shoot in a lower resolution mode, and decrease if you shoot
in a higher resolution mode. |
