I have had to deal with cooler master directly on an issue. I have found them to be deceptive, and outright dishonest. They failed to ship a replacement part, and gave me a fake tracking number. I verified this through UPS. I am now 12 days into waiting for a part that was supposed to be overnighted. Buyer Beware. |

Im with Russel, I also had an A8N SLI-Deluxe Motherboard, I reccomend NOT to buy this fan if you have this motherboard. I got it on, but I was afraid I was going to snap something on my motherboard off to get the heatsink-''Securers'' on. It was insanely hard to get it on the motherboard, but it ran VERY well, Just very risky putting it on |

This thing works great!! Put it on a asus P5N-E SLI mobo northbridge with Antec's new Formula 5 grease and i saw my temps drop to 26c idle and 29c loaded. im overclocked to 3.2 with a core2 e6400 and its all laying in a Antec 900 rig. no bsods, no lockups, no hiccups etc... so far!!! it's pretty quiet i cant hear it running at all. id say its about as loud as the fan on my EVGA 7950 gt oc 512 card ( which is oced too)in benchies when the evga maxs out and kicks in full, its definetly louder than this fan. great buy, dont hesitate!! should fit most boards because of sliding setup for pins.it is about a inch and a half tall thats its only drawback. make sure to snap the pins in first and then line it up to them to screw down. |

This thing does am excellent job at cooling the northbridge chipset. Before i got this i couldnt even touch my heatsink, i got this put on some of the OCZ silver thermal grease and VOILA! now i leave my system on all day and at the end i can easily touch theheatsink with no problem at all in fact its hardley even warm. Great product! well worth the 15 bucks |

Shipped fast, got it quick.
Pros: All copper, smooth base. Has plenty of install options for differing mobos. Does not require mobo removal.
Cons:Do NOT INSTALL THIS ON Asus A8N-Sli Deluxe!!! It will NOT clear any newer dual slot video card(chipset cooler is too tall!) The stock Asus chipset fan is as thick as you can go! I had to install it with no fan (passive) to clear my X1900XT, and the only reason that it works well enough passive is copper, plus I have 6-80mm fans blowing into my case. The mounting mechanism is a royal pain to get the hooks to connect, but once it is, your good to go. I wish they gave mounting height specs.
Overall-A+ for effort, C- for usage on SLI or Crossfire mobos. |
