I really hate this camera. Even though its mp4 it does not have many features. I could not charge the camera because the cord that came with it was for a different camera. I ordered the right cable and charged it. I went to take some pictures and I found out that when I take pictures there is always a white light and you cant see a god dam thing. Im trying to make some video but when I start it the video is black and white and the picture is torn down the middle like the screen is cracked. I can take some pictures but they are very blurry. I DO NOT recommend this camera/ mp4. IN FACT THERE WERE NO HEADPHONES FOR THE MUSIC AND IT DID NOT HAVE AN INSTALLATION CD. My shipment was all screwed up. |

Beware, it's USB 1.0. And about the video playing option, in the menu of this thing there's no video title visible, the only thing we see is the first picture of the video, and knowing that many videos start with a black screen, is causes problems. |

Great concept...incredibly versatile all in one media machine: camera for video/picture capture, line inputs for directly recording movies/TV/music, removable memory. Generally, very impressive!
However, I became nervous and returned the unit when the audio recorded badly, the video recorded badly on each first attempt (not good if it isn't coming from a source that can be re-started; such as a live TV show) and I feared not having sustainable, long term service with an ''off-brand'' manufacturer. As noted in other reviews, the camera has no flash which limits usefulness, even with the brightness adjustment. Also, the user interface is a bit cheesy with it's sounds and the volume was linked to playback volume so you couldn't turn one down without effecting the other or killing your ears.
If all functions were flawless, I would likely still have the unit. It was a long shot expecting ALL of these functions at such a low price... no wonder no other name brands have yet to get ther |

The pros include very nice screen colors and video playback. The colors are bright and attractive. Decent sound quality. 512MB with SD/MMC storage capability.
The cons include ''No flash''. This is VERY important. The camera requires bright light if taking photos/recording inside. The pics turn out really dark. Pictures are best in bright sunlight.
Overall, the product is decent to play back your mp3s and videos, as it supports several formats. However do not depend on the camera to support all your needs. This product would have been perfect if it had a flash. The rating I gave it is because of the camera quality. |

Media Players Buying Guide
So you’re in the gym and see nearly everyone with some device strapped
his or her arm. It looks like the remote control to your kid’s TV.
The guy in the cube next to you at work always has his headphones on, his
fingers drumming to a raucous beat that only he can hear. You take the kids
to visit your mom and even grandma has one. |
