Bought 1 of these about 6 months ago for one of my children's birthday, and also immediately put RockBox on it. (www.rockbox.org). Start it in emergency mode (press reset hold right scroll key and power on) it becomes a 20 gig hard drive to USB. Drag and drop files to it! It's worked so well now I've had to buy another for the second child. Good product. Right price. I very seldom write one of these, but I am impressed by this little gadget. Very satisfied with bang for buck on this player. Oh also this thing with RockBox plays my .m4u files direct from Winamp with no problem. Got it up to 5 gigs now, and still going. |

Bought this player earlier this year. I put the RockBox OS on it (www.rockbox.org) the first day and never looked back. With RockBox it can do anything an iPod can do, but even better. And 20gb is plenty of storage for all my music in mp3 and most of my music in FLAC. The best part about RockBox is that it doesn't wipe off the original OS, so it doesn't void the warranty.
I will never touch an iPod, they're only good if you are shallow enough to have to fit in with the Apple zombies. The players are fine, but you're paying for a name.

This player is the best out their right now.iPod doesn't and will never compare to this one, it has so much more then iPod.Never had a problem and man when you have it on 40 it really pumps excellent iRiiver A++! :) |

Good Price for a piece of junk. I have had the product for only 3j days and I always have to keep resetting. Now the device wont power up at all. tried everything in the manual, fully charged the battery but still no luck. The unit is completely dead. I am going to return it and dont want the product exchanged for the same kind. I'll probably get some other brand. |
