Wireless Extenders Cell Phone Booster
Wireless Extenders has developed a revolutionary cell-phone signal booster for the consumer. The YX500-CEL is a Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) which captures the Cellular (800MHz) signal arriving at a consumer’s home or office, amplifies, and rebroadcasts it inside the building.
Wireless Extenders designed the YX500-CEL to meet the needs of the wireless consumer while actively protecting the service providers’ wireless network.
The Wireless Extenders’ YX500-CEL Kit includes the amplifier Base Unit, power supply, Base Unit Antenna, 35 feet of lowloss SATV coaxial cable (RG6), the Signal
Antenna, and mounting hardware. The omni-directional antennas are easy to orient and receive from multiple cell towers.

Have a large commercial metal building that is located 40 miles from Houston. Had only one bar to none with Sprint, after purchasing booster antenna signal went to 5 bars with no more lost calls. Antenna is mounted on metal roof 25 ft. off the ground. Works with wireless internet card and cell phones. Works throughout offices in main building of 10,000 sq. ft. |

Reading the other reviews, I must not have the placement right yet. I'll have to experiment with the antenna (although it's outside on the roof) and the inside unit locations. It has helped, though. We've gone from almost NO reception to at least one to two bars. Sometimes, we have 3-4 bars but it's not consistent. It does work for ALL cell phones. A friend has Sprint and commented how his phone suddenly worked great at our house. |

I live way out in the country.. between to hills and next to a swamp. My cell reception was horrible,
dropped calls all the time. Had to go outside to make calls. This unit is awesome!! I put it in just into my garage and it helped. I had my nephew come and put the antenna up in the attic.. I have 5 bars most of the time. Highly recommend this booster.
Make sure to get it up in the attic or somewhere
for the best reception. |

This product improved our signal, it's not the strongest around but at least we can now make and receive calls inside our home instead of going to the bathroom (literally) to make calls. Verizon doesn't stand behind their talk when it comes to servicing your area very well. |

I couldn't get any service increase from anywhere in the house or on the property. Even though there are several places I can get one or two bars without the extender, there was no increase in signal strength at all and I returned the item. I have Verizon coverage and a Blackberry phone and it didn't work at all. |
