I bough this back in Oct. 2006 for my XFX 7900 gs. Its still quiet and has been running flawlessly I just wish they would make this cooler for my 9800 GT. This product is awesome I buy 3 more for these if I could just can't find them anywhere. |

Very good product running at 40c overclocked mad... BTW what are you guys thinking. Artic silver on a video card? YOur card will be short lived buds. I work for tech support, you wouldnt belive how many toasted there cards like that. Sure its cooler at first. A video card IS ''NOT'' a CPU, dont treat it as such!! |

Excellent product. Worked perfectly on my 6800GS. I suggest buying a tube of thermal grease (Arctic Silver or similar) since the pre-applied stuff on this cooler isn't very thick.
Instructions were kinda lousy, but it's fairly obvious how to install it when you receive it. Lowered my temps by 10 degrees at idle and by 20 degrees at full-load.
Nice upgrade from the stock cooler on my eVGA 6800 GS CO Superclocked. |

I've had the silencer installed and running for about 10 months and, when I think about it, I love it. My system's so quiet now I often forget the effort that went into making it that way. I was anxious installing it as, at the time, my BFG GeForce 6800 Ultra OC was brand new and had cost a pretty penny. But it was one loud s.o.b., hence the silencer, and in the end everything worked out fine. There's not much to say that hasn't been said a million times before - the silencer is dead quiet and drops GPU temperatures plenty. 13°C in my case. This and Thermaltake's Big Typhoon are true kings of silent PC components. The only thing I hear now-a-days is the tick of hard drives. One thing I will say of value is that my card's resister heat sync was in the way of the silencer's installation, and I had to grind the resister's teeth down a couple millimeters to make room. Oh, and don't bother trying to peel the sticker off of the silencer. It's on there real nice. |

Very satisfied with product. A bit scared because I had never heard of the brand but I trust them now. Instalation was a breeze and cools my BFG 7800 GT OC about 6-8 C lower than the stock cooler. Is very quiet and I fully plan on getting another one if i get another card for SLI. |
