My laptop crashed so I ordered this to access my hard drives. With them its always prompt delivery. This case is absolutely worth the money and everyone should have at least one. |

I installed a 320Gb hardrive (that was only 9 mos old) from an 8 year old laptop (motherbd died) and installed it into one these Nextstar 3 units. Oustanding product! Very easy to install drive into enclosure; performs wonderfully and very well made! I am using it under heavy load with it connected to a single USB port and have no problems. You get a cable, the enclosure and a case for less than $25! |

Bought this to house a new HD to upgrade my laptop's hard drive. Worked flawlessly, and the copy process was pretty quick, copying 80 gigs of data over in just over an hour. The enclosure looks great, and comes with a sturdy carrying case that can hold the enclosure and the USB cable, and then zips closed. So now I have everything in one place. Incredible value for the money. |

I installed my 320GB Western Digital HDD into this enclosure with no problems and it runs just fine on Vista Home Premium 64-bit. Where the problem comes in is if you don't have a spare USB hub, you better think about getting one because this takes up two USB slots. The documentation says that it is just in case extra power is needed. If it may be needed, then provide an AC adapter but let's face it, slots on a notebook of any kind are pretty much at a premium and need to be used wisely. Other than that, I hear nothing out of it and the exterior case barely gets warmer than room temperature. On my way to buy another one for another drive. |
