I purchased this pad to go with my New Logitech G7 which I must admit is a very fine mouse. It's one of those new Laser Mice. I purchased this Xtrac Pad expecting some very good results. It arrived at work and I tried it out with my optical mouse that I have there and it works very well. I'm using it here now. I took it home and was expecting similar results. This pad was rated for use with optical and laser mice including the Logitech G5 which seems to be very similar to the G7. I put it on the pad and started moving it around. I was in shock! Something about this pad absorbs the laser signal. I get no movement, at best I can make it irraticly move an inch. Very shocked and disappointed. I have no idea what mouse pad to get now.
Another very small note to mention. This image shows a black pad with a honeycone design. The pad is honeycone-with a black bar on right right side. Oppisite of the image shown on the website.
