Dead after 7 months
Worked well for almost 7 months and then died. Working with Seagate to get it replaced. Drive was installed in an internal drive bay.

Works as advertised
Quick and easy install for a new build. Recognized and formatted quickly. Make sure motherboard and operating software are compatible with a 3 TB drive before you buy this product to upgrade. Arrived very quickly. One day 2 hours after I ordered it by some fluke which was cool.

Great drive
I have several of these and they all work well. Very good for backup. Best price to space ratio at this point compared to 2 & 4TB. Highly recommend.

What else do you expect?
This HDD does what it does. It certainly does make a whole bunch of noise like my old baraccuda. Plus, 3TB is more than enough space. Easy to install; that is obvious. After a month of running this drive, I have no regrets.
