It installs like any other aftermarket fan. I found that there is not enough room in the slots for the fan. Other compnents such as a video card take up so much room that there is no room for the fan setup.I recommend you check your slots to be sure you have enough room to add the fan unit. My video card & sound card don't leave enough room for it to come close to fitting.

I put this in a few slots away from vid card and set it just below max. Blows lots of air right onto vid card helping it keep cool.
