I needed extra cooling capacity on my HPa1250n desktop, so bought this item. It installs on one slot, and versetile cable connector made it easy to power. A few days after installing we noticed a mild smell of hot or very hot plastic, so I uninstalled it. Then the smell disappeared, so I can only assume it was the fan housing or something on the fan that was getting too hot. Bummer, but that is perhaps why it is so cheap. |

Installed with no problem. Quiet, no vibration And blowes a large amount of air. Only in for three weeks, so far so good. |

This item was easy to install and did exactly as promised. It started to work immediately, dropping the temp and promoting airflow. Well worth the 10 dollars. |

I bought this fan to replace a similar one that had become noisy. The power connection allowed it to tap in to a hard drive power cable, but did not include all the pins necessary to power the hard drive! I had to cut off the adaptor and splice on the one from my old one! |

Very good fan. also a very good price. I have no thermomitor in my case so i cant tell you how much it lowers my tempurture. but fan is quiet and nice looking. Mine has lasted me 2 years already and it is still running. The fan is very easy to clean to. I now it works good because it pushes alot of air and much fresh air from outside of the case. |
