This adapter constantly drops an internet connection and constantly causes my computer to freeze. I've tried it on 2 different routers: a DI-524 and a DI-624 with the same outcome. |

I got this after I gave Zonet PCI card a try and gave up on it. Very easy and fast installation. Tried using it with both the D-link software and Windows. Runs much faster and most stable with windows network connection compared to D-link software. Easy configuration, no hiccups so far,cutouts or crashes. signal strength is excellect being 20 ft and one room away. |

Product works great on Win Xp 32. NO support or drivers for XP 64-bit or Vista. Since I'm running XP 64-bit, this is useless in that regard. When using it with my work laptop running XP 32-bit, it does work wonderfully, good speed, few disconnects and far between. If DLink would try to keep the support current with OS technology, I'd have given 5 stars. |

I've had this adapter for about 3 months now installed on a cobbled together home desktop running WinXP. Installation was easy, but I recall having to install the packaged software when I had hoped to avoid that. But that is easily surmountable. It has been running very well with my SMC Barricade router the whole time. It maintains a good signal strength and long periods of connectivity. Overall I'm very satisfied. |
