This is a great computer,I've had mine since mid december 2004,Tons of capacity, DVD works great,the only thing is that the speakers are not the greatest,but excellent value for the price i paid,came loaded with back up xp home,if i did it all again i would pay the extra for the actual dvd burner and the s video out.

Beutifull machine i have had this for 8 months and i have over 60 applicatoins installed and 4 games and not once it has froze on me and true laptop

Well first off I wish It would have a seperate docking station like the HP but other than that it is a wonderful machine that Great features and it's performance is great. The Audio could be a bit louder for DVD playback but other than that it is a good machine.
What Is USB 2.0?
USB 1.1 was great when it was introduced almost a decade ago. But
the newer USB 2.0 transfers data dramatically faster - up to 40 times
quicker. Plus, USB 2.0 provides additional bandwidth for multimedia and
storage applications, which are growing larger every year. Also to your
advantage is the fact that USB 2.0 is forward and backward compatible with
USB 1.1, which means that cables and connectors made for the original USB
configuration will also work perfectly in a USB 2.0 port, though some newer
devices are specifically designed for USB 2.0. It is always a good
idea to verify the version of USB supported by each device you want to use.
