I got this speaker system on sale for $40CDN and they're one of the best buy's I've ever had. Don't buy them if you don't want bass (sillyest thing I ever heard, buying a system with a sub and not wanting bass) because the others are right that you can't really ever ''kill'' the bass. If you're looking for a good set of speakers then these are it! I purchased them as an addition to my home theatre system (TV not PC) and I couldn't have asked for better quality at an amazing price! |

Great sound, strong bass, that's the good. The bad: you can't turn the subs off, and the volume knob gets loose if you adjust it a lot carelessly. It somehow magically tightened itself after I moved the computer to my room. Because you can't turn the bass off, it's best that you get this if you know nobody will complain about the noise. |

I got these 6 months or so ago at an office max on sale. Wasn't sure by looking at the box whether they were good or not, but from experience, i trust Logitec. Boy was I surprised, for the price i paid at the time, i was underestimating them. The bass has variable volume (I'm a rocker so all the way up baby!), the speakers are very nice sounding even when at a high volume, no distortions and never crackles. The bass can shake things across my house! Anyway, if your just looking around for 2.1 speakers; these are the true way to go. Very happy user right here. |

For the price and quality of this speaker system I would rate it a 10. (10 being the highest) I was really surprised of the sound. I am well pleased and would highly recommend if you are looking for quality for under $50! Awesome! Thanks TigerDirect for giving such a great deal. I have purchased a few of your great deals and I must say I have been very happy with them all! You Rock! |

I am really disapointed with the X-230 speakers
If you do not have any speakers at all then
they would be ok
But they are a big step backwards from my old
Benwin Sound digit 980
